The Neon Izakaya drops you straight into a narrow side street of a futuristic metropolis. Between dark façades, neon signs flicker in yellow, blue, and violet, steam rises from street kitchens, and light and motion blend into a vibrant night-time atmosphere. This set captures the soul of a Japanese izakaya district, reimagined through a bold cyberpunk lens. The contrast between tight urban spaces, warm street-food culture, and cool high-tech aesthetics creates an immediate sense of place. You can almost hear the sizzle of the grills, see the glowing signs pulse, and feel the restless energy of a city that never truly sleeps.

The model is built around three modular units – an izakaya pub, a ramen stand, and an octopus grill – each removable and freely rearrangeable. A standout feature is the fully integrated lighting system: numerous light points are embedded directly into signs, lanterns, and structures, bathing the scene in vivid neon without interrupting the building flow. The build alternates between detailed façades, cleverly designed interiors, and small surprises such as sliding doors or hidden elements. The overall experience feels focused and rewarding, with frequent moments where individual details suddenly come together and bring the entire scene to life.
