Medieval Blacksmith.
Where Firelight Meets Timberwork
Warm light spills through the windows while the anvil downstairs waits for the next commission. Across 2,366 pieces, you build a three-storey artisan’s home that combines an open forge, welcoming living quarters and a furnished attic. Dark timber framing, irregular stonework and the steep blue roof give the building the storybook character of a workshop on the edge of a medieval settlement. A tree, paths, stairs and small architectural projections turn the house into a scene worth viewing from every side. Integrated lighting gives the hearth and interior rooms an especially atmospheric presence after dark.
The build progresses from the masonry base through the furnished floors to the textured roof assembled from numerous small elements. Each level can be removed, keeping the forge, living room and bedroom accessible after construction. The ground floor contains a hearth, anvil and tools, while the upper rooms use a table, chairs, kitchen fittings, bed, chests and small accessories to suggest everyday life. Opening doors and windows, together with stairs and ladders between the floors, add hands-on interaction to the architectural model. Offset roof pieces, subtle colour variation and compact subassemblies keep the building process varied and focused on detail.
This model is particularly suited to experienced builders and adult medieval enthusiasts looking for an impressive display piece with a complete interior. Its modular floors also make it a useful setting for close-up photography or an expansion to a custom village or castle town. No minifigures are included, leaving you free to populate the workshop and home with characters from your own collection. The finished forge works equally well as a self-contained centrepiece or as the civilian heart of a larger medieval layout.
