Steampunk Clock Tower.
Pantasy 85008 – Steampunk Clock Tower – Time Travel in a Gearbox
Like something out of a steam-powered future, the Pantasy Steampunk Clock Tower rises into the sky – a clock tower straight out of a Jules Verne novel. Inspired by Victorian architecture and mechanical fantasy, this model blends classic Gothic with gears, pipes, and metal embellishments. At the base of the tower: a red telephone box, a black vintage taxi, a mist-shrouded park with a fountain. The scene seems frozen in another time – mysterious, adventurous, yet familiar. A set that not only represents time but sets it in motion. For fans of retro science fiction, the romanticism of technology, and historically inspired street scenes, this is a monumental structure brimming with atmosphere.
With 2,460 pieces, this challenging, modular set offers ample opportunity for technical enthusiasm and meticulous attention to detail. The tower rests on a sturdy 32x32 base plate, ensuring exceptional stability. The build is divided into 16 steps – from the park scene to the tower's spire – and even allows for teamwork. A special highlight is the working clock mechanism inside. A side knob sets gears in motion, swings a visible pendulum, and even turns the clock hands – mechanically, without any electronics. Printed components, not stickers, give the model an elegant finish. Cleverly employed SNOT techniques and unusual part uses create a varied, almost meditative building experience. A clock that ticks – and invites you to marvel.
This set is clearly aimed at adult builders, steampunk fans, and display enthusiasts. Standing 58 cm tall, the clock tower is an imposing showpiece – perfect for a sideboard, studio, or a dedicated diorama corner. Even without minifigures, the taxi, telephone booth, and small pieces of urban furniture like lampposts, park benches, and fountains create a vibrant, almost cinematic scene. The dominant colors are black, sand beige, and gold – elegant and harmonious. The set can be combined with other Fantasy Steampunk models, such as the steam train station, to create an entire retro-futuristic city. A monument made of building blocks that unites technology, narrative, and design – demonstrating that building can also be a journey through time.
