Low Rider - Big Red.

West Coast shine after dark

The pavement still holds the heat of the evening, chrome catches the fading light, and a deep-red lowrider cruises towards the next meet. Inspired by the lines of a 1964 Chevrolet Impala, this model pays tribute to the golden age of lowrider culture. Its long bonnet, sweeping rear and deliberately low stance capture the presence of a classic American coupé. Rich red bodywork meets chrome-coloured accents, while the integrated headlights transform the atmosphere once the room grows dark. The result is more than a conventional car model: it is a confident piece of West Coast culture for your collection. The Street Fusion concept brings nostalgic automotive design, urban pop culture and modern lighting together in one distinctive display build.

Across 969 pieces, you build a detailed collector's model at approximately 1:17 scale. Sideways and inverted connections, smooth surfaces and carefully layered body sections shape the car's characteristic curves. The construction begins with a sturdy chassis and gradually develops into the long red body mounted on freely rolling wheels. Installing the LEDs and routing their wires demands concentration because the lighting is integrated directly into the build. A generous selection of printed elements adds trim and visual detail without disturbing the lowrider's clean silhouette.

The finished model is aimed primarily at adult car enthusiasts, experienced builders and collectors of distinctive American classics. Its colour, proportions and chrome-style details already command attention on a shelf, while the illuminated headlights turn it into an atmospheric centrepiece. You can power the lighting with two CR2032 coin cells in the onboard battery holder or through the provided USB connection. Two included characters add context to the display, although they are not scaled to match the vehicle. Big Red therefore remains exactly what it was designed to be: an expressive display car with rolling wheels, built-in light and unmistakable lowrider attitude.

About the manufacturer

Lumibricks.

Building artistry with light and atmosphere

Lumibricks offers a building experience with a difference: creative design paired with atmospheric lighting. The sets are made specifically for adult building brick fans who want not only to build their creations, but also to display them in style.

Every model stands out with lovingly crafted details, thoughtful design and integrated LED lighting that creates a distinctive mood – whether it is a cosy home, a mysterious library or an industrial-inspired fantasy world. The focus is on expressive display pieces designed less for play and more for exploring, admiring and showcasing.

Lumibricks is therefore perfect for anyone who wants to unwind while building, create worlds of their own and use light and bricks to striking effect – as an eye-catching piece on a shelf or a conversation starter in the study.

Good to know: The brand was renamed from Funwhole to Lumibricks in 2025. During the transition, products may still appear under either name – but everything else remains as you know it: high-quality sets full of atmosphere and character.
