Warm light in winter snow

Snow lies outside while a warm glow spills through the windows towards the little fire pit. This two-storey lodge captures the feeling of a relaxed mountain retreat and tells the story of friends unwinding after a day on the slopes. Ski equipment, wintry decorations and a carefully arranged outdoor area give the scene character from every angle. Ten integrated lights illuminate the windows, rooms and exterior, transforming the model once the room grows dark. Built from 2,187 pieces, the lodge fits a surprising amount of atmosphere and interior detail onto a footprint of roughly 25.5 × 25.5 cm.

The build progresses from the snow-covered base through the furnished rooms to the distinctive roof structure. A hinged rear wall opens the building wide to reveal both floors, while the removable roof provides additional access to the upper storey. Opening doors and windows, along with the outdoor fire pit, make it easy to arrange small everyday scenes. The lighting cables are routed through the structure as you build, adding a manageable technical layer to the architectural experience. A total of 29 printed elements provide signs and decorative details without requiring stickers.

The lodge is aimed at experienced teenage builders and adult fans who enjoy atmospheric winter buildings with strong display and storytelling appeal. Four minifigures portray a group of friends enjoying their mountain break, while three small animals bring extra life to the snowy surroundings. The accessible interior invites you to create your own scenes, yet remains detailed enough for a shelf display or seasonal winter arrangement. By day the architecture feels welcoming and playful; after dark, the lighting turns the finished model into a glowing focal point.
