Dark magic behind fortress walls

An ominous spell hangs over the black walls as heroes push through the gates and across the platforms into the necromancer’s domain. This compact fantasy fortress combines towers, battlements and open play areas into a stage for sieges, rescues and forbidden rituals. Dark-grey masonry, black accents and printed symbols give the stronghold its sinister identity. A glow-in-the-dark skeleton delivers a striking surprise when the room goes dark and makes the undead entourage especially memorable. As part of the Herocraft world, the citadel can also join other castles, dungeons and characters in larger adventures.

The 875-piece build creates a model measuring approximately 27 × 27 × 15 cm while fitting plenty of accessible areas into its compact footprint. Traditional layered construction, reinforced plates and interlocked wall sections provide a sturdy foundation. Moving doors and gates, several entry points and playable platforms add action to the structure. Partly open interior areas leave room for prisoners, confrontations and the necromancer’s shadowy schemes. Eight printed elements permanently add crests, runes and magical details to the scene.

The approachable construction and printed instructions make this an inviting family project for younger fantasy fans. Once completed, the citadel becomes a robust play setting while its distinctive silhouette also looks dramatic on a shelf. Six characterful Kiddiz figures provide heroes and dark inhabitants for immediate storytelling, including the glow-in-the-dark skeleton. The result combines a child-friendly introduction to building with enough atmosphere and detail to charm adult fans of playful fantasy worlds.
