A harbour, an island or a lake in the middle of your city: this blue baseplate gives your idea one continuous surface. Its 50 × 50 stud grid leaves room to position shores, piers and buildings just where you want them. Leave some blue on show as water, then shape the edges and transitions yourself. You can also use the colour as a backdrop for an entirely different scene. Nothing on the plate dictates the story; that part is yours.

The baseplate is one flat piece, ready to use straight away. Its square studded surface gives you a clear grid for lining up your builds. The generous uninterrupted area lets you plan broad stretches without working around a join between smaller baseplates. Whether you sketch out a single shoreline or fill the space bit by bit, the layout develops as you build.

Children can turn the plate into a setting for their own adventures, while adult builders can start a harbour layout or a custom scene here.
