pantasy-85055-retro-bankierlampe
Retro Banker's Lamp

A quiet glow from another era

Picture a late evening in an old library, with a green-shaded desk lamp lighting the pages below. This model brings that familiar, unhurried scene to your own desk or reading nook. Its curved green shade, gold-toned stem and broad base capture the outline of a classic banker's lamp. An integrated LED module casts a warm glow beneath the shade, giving the display a different presence after dark. Gently pull the chain to switch the light on or off, or use the second switch on the base. It is a nostalgic object you can interact with, not just admire on a shelf.

The 523-piece build takes you from the wide base through the slender stem to the green shade. Inside the stem, Technic liftarms and pins provide support while making room for the lighting cables. The LED module sits beneath the shade, with the wiring routed discreetly through the model. Take a little care when connecting the fine electrical contacts and give the pull chain a gentle tug rather than a sharp one. Beyond those details, the construction is approachable and makes for a relaxed build with a satisfying working feature.

At around 24.5 cm tall, the finished lamp is designed for a desk, bookcase or display cabinet. Its gold-effect finish and rich green shade stand out in daylight, then take on a softer character when the light is on. If you enjoy historic everyday design, it makes a distinctive display piece rather than a conventional playset. The lighting needs an external USB power source; a battery box is not included.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0938/5849/6776/files/pantasy-85055-retro-bankierlampe-1792000471035-1.webp?v=1792000473
