Strike gold in constant motion
Among rugged rocks, timber supports and winding transport routes, a busy Wild West gold mine springs to life. Small balls take the place of precious nuggets as they travel through the open, multi-level scenery. Mine entrances, platforms, ladders and mine-cart areas combine into a diorama where something is always happening. Three miners bring character to the machinery and inspire stories of prospecting, hard work and hauling treasure from the ground. A motorised circuit turns the setting into a kinetic machine whose movements can be followed from different angles. The result is an unusual blend of Western adventure, display presence and ambitious marble-run engineering.
Built from an official 2,990 pieces, the mine reaches approximately 42 centimetres wide, 47 centimetres high and 32 centimetres deep. Its structure rests on four baseplates and combines traditional system building with gears, levers and mechanical transfer modules. The included motor and power box drive the ball circuit, carrying the balls across several levels of the model. Exposed rockwork, timber frames and technical assemblies create a varied build that moves between landscape shaping and functional engineering. Some transfer points require careful alignment, making the final setup especially rewarding for patient builders who enjoy tuning complex mechanisms.
The open construction works equally well as an imposing display model and as a mechanical scene to watch in action. Nine printed elements add lasting graphic details, with no stickers used anywhere in the build. The three included figures can be positioned on the platforms, beside the mine entrances or around the transport machinery. Western enthusiasts will find plenty of storytelling detail, while GBC and engineering fans can study and refine the continuous ball circuit. This makes the set an extensive project for experienced builders and adult collectors who want their visible mechanics to do more than stand still.
