Built from 1,248 pieces, this travelling medieval theatre carries music, comedy and legends from one town to the next. Closed up, the colourful carriage looks like a compact home for a troupe forever on the road. In stage mode, its body becomes a lively setting for heroic plays, folktales and comic performances. Three horses pull the company towards its next audience, while five figures take on roles around the carriage and stage. The result is a refreshingly peaceful slice of medieval life beyond castles and battlefields.

The 2-in-1 design combines a rolling horse-drawn carriage with an opening theatre set. Hinged and convertible sections let you switch between travel and performance modes without losing the model’s distinctive silhouette. Four integrated LED elements illuminate the stage and create an inviting glow when the room lights are low. A total of 29 printed elements add decorative patterns and theatrical detail throughout the build. Routing the lights adds a technical twist to the varied construction without introducing motors or complicated gearing.

The finished carriage works equally well as an illuminated display piece and as the centre of a medieval role-play scene. Its cast of figures and three horses immediately brings the setting to life around the wagon, stage or an existing market diorama. A brick-built dragon gives the troupe a suitably fantastical star for its next production. Rolling wheels allow the company to move between scenes before the curtains open again.
