French elegance before the war

Bring the atmosphere of late-1930s French boulevards into your collection with this unmistakable classic. The original car made automotive history through its front-wheel drive and monocoque construction. Its long bonnet, sweeping wings and distinctive front gave the Traction Avant a silhouette all its own. COBI recreates those lines in an understated and elegant colour scheme. Round headlamps, the prominent grille and refined trim capture the character of a pre-war saloon. Brick by brick, you build a striking piece of French engineering heritage.

The 1,900-piece build produces a 37 cm long vehicle in generous 1:12 scale. Layered bodywork, carefully placed slopes and flowing transitions shape the recognisable profile while retaining an authentic brick-built appearance. Opening doors reveal the seats, steering wheel and detailed dashboard inside. Free-rolling wheels let you carefully move and pose the completed car instead of treating it as a purely static model. Printed number plates, instruments and decorative details complete its period look.
