The 1,949-piece build is aimed at experienced builders who enjoy complex structures and varied techniques. Substantial sculpted sections alternate with delicate supports, sideways construction and tightly packed greebling. Joining the large upper body to the gondola below calls for patience, as temporarily fragile sections gain their final strength through later cross-connections. More than 38 printed elements add lasting detail to instruments, ornaments and mechanical surfaces. A printed instruction manual guides you through the demanding construction until the airship rests securely on its stand.

At roughly 38 centimetres wide and 34 centimetres tall, the completed model is designed to become a striking feature in a cabinet or on a shelf. Its richly worked exterior takes centre stage, complemented by suggested gondola areas and a fully equipped crew. Five individually printed steampunk figures wear goggles, harnesses and mechanical accessories that bring the vessel's story to life.
