Above the shop, furnished living and lounge areas with beds, sofas, tables and shelving give the building a convincing private side. Warm brick and brown tones meet contemporary graphics, blending an old-school trade with the energy of a creative urban district. The result is not merely a detailed façade, but a fully furnished setting for everyday encounters, conversations and life after closing time.

The 2,557-piece build takes you from the 32x32-stud footprint and pavement through the shop floor to the upper storeys and finished rooftop. Doors open, barber chairs move and smaller furnishings can be adjusted without distracting from the architectural focus. The lighting is installed alongside the walls, rooms and façade sections as you build, allowing most of the wiring to disappear inside the completed structure. Varied masonry, projecting architectural details and carefully framed windows give the street-facing elevation tangible depth. A printed manual divides this substantial project into clear stages that are easy to spread across several evenings.

Measuring 25.6 x 25.6 cm at the base and 39 cm tall, the finished model commands attention on a shelf, in a display cabinet or at the heart of an urban diorama. Four figures, including the barber, customers and other local characters, bring activity to both the shop and the rooms above. Its considered interior, mature building challenge and atmospheric night-time appearance make it especially appealing to adult city builders and experienced teenage fans.
