Rising above the fields and bakery, this Dutch windmill turns rural life into a richly layered brick-built scene. Its broad sails define the silhouette, while the millhouse, farm shop and bakery trace the journey from grain to freshly baked bread. Warm light glows through windows and workspaces, complemented by cooler white accents around selected mill details. Four figures bring the setting to life as residents, workers and customers. Together, these elements create a cosy village scene shaped by traditional craft, Dutch architecture and the imagined aroma of a working bakery. At approximately 44 cm tall with the sails included, the finished model becomes a striking centrepiece for a farm or building display.

The 2,297-piece build takes you through the surrounding countryside, the furnished millhouse and the distinctive sail assembly. A linked mechanism allows the windmill sails to rotate, adding visible movement to the façade. Modular access reveals the bakery, oven, shelves, living spaces and working areas inside. The integrated lighting system spreads eleven light points and three LED strips with warm-white and white illumination throughout the interior and exterior. All graphic details are created with 33 printed elements.

The official 16+ recommendation reflects the substantial build and the care required when routing the lighting cables. Architecture and countryside enthusiasts get an atmospheric display model, while the accessible rooms, figures and rotating sails add storytelling potential. You can display the mill on its own or combine it with other rural builds to create a broader Farm Life setting. Power comes from three AAA batteries or the built-in USB connection, giving you flexible options for lighting the scene on a shelf or in a cabinet.
